STAFFING AND RECRUITING INDUSTRY SPECIALIST SHIRLEY JONES JOINS AKKEN AS V.P. SALES
Nashua, NH - June 24, 2007 - Akken, Inc., provider of the only affordable, all-in-one, on demand software system for staffing and recruiting companies, names former Pro Staff executive Shirley Jones vice president of sales. Jones will lead the expansion of Akken's flagship offering, Akken Staffing™, effectively growing the client base while delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Jones brings a broad base of sales and management expertise to Akken with over 20 years experience in the staffing and recruiting industry, most recently with Pro Staff, a mid-sized privately held staffing company. As Pro Staff's group vice president/general manager for the Northeast region, Jones was responsible for growing the market from $12 million to over $26 million in revenue. She joined Pro Staff 11 years ago after holding regional positions for Olsten Staffing Services, a billion dollar publicly held organization. Jones is a recognized industry expert and has spoken for numerous chamber of commerce and industry organizations on recruiting and staffing. She holds a B.S. in Administration from The Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH.
