Giridhar Akkineni

CEO

Giridhar Akkineni is a staffing industry entrepreneur. Prior to founding Akken, Akkineni created InterWorldNet, an IT Staffing Firm based in Rocky Hill, CT. Previously he managed businesses in Information Technology, Transport, Manufacturing and Retail industries.

Foreseeing the potential of cloud computing and an opportunity to unify on one platform the fragmented software point solutions available to staffing and recruitment firms, he created Akken in 2005. Akkineni has taken Akken Staffing. from an innovative concept to a leadership position within the staffing and recruitment software industry.

Akkineni holds Masters in Computer Science from the University of Bridgeport.

Kevin McCann

Director of Sales

Kevin brings 20 years of experience in strategy creation and implementation, sales and sales management working in the high-tech industry. Kevin has worked for the largest networking equipment manufacturers in the world including Cisco Systems, Inc. and Cabletron (Enterasys), spent 5 years in Silicon Valley during the .COM boom of the late 1990's, grew a small value added reseller which from $6million to $60million in revenues in 18 months and worked for one of the most renowned and well-funded startups of the .COM era, LoudCloud, all prior to starting Cortex, LLC in 2001. After the successful merger of Cortex with another value added reseller in 2006, Kevin founded the Executive Strategy Group, LLC, a strategic management consulting firm specializing in strategic productivity and revenue growth acceleration.

As a strategic consultant, Kevin has worked on over 50 engagements with a broad range of clients across industry verticals, and successful programs with start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations.

Kevin holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire.

Christine Sierra

Director of Marketing

Christine is a seasoned marketing professional with over 15 years product management and marketing experience, specializing in bringing products to market using both traditional and social media techniques. Christine was VP Marketing for Lexalytics, a self-funded text analytics company, and as a member of senior management was responsible for all inbound sales, corporate branding, messaging, social media, and PR tasks. She has also held senior roles at Genalytics (now Semcasting, Inc.), Datawatch and ThomsonReuters.

She holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Ithaca College.

Dave Priddle

Director of Customer4Life

Dave Priddle is a veteran of the IT consulting and software development industries. Prior to joining Akken, he was Senior Implementation Manager at Bullhorn Inc. a privately-held IT staffing and recruitment software firm. Previously, he was a Senior Account Manager at leading IT systems integrator, Computer Sciences Corporation, where he managed large scale roll outs of enterprise systems. Priddle has extensive experience in software system design and deployment, including systems integration, migration, training and business process improvement. He also serves as an adjunct instructor for the University of Phoenix and Brandeis University where he focuses on software implementation management.

Priddle holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Boston College and an MBA from Babson College.

Prakash Akkineni

Director of Technology Innovations

Prakash Akkineni has more than 15 years of experience in software development, IT and engineering management. Akkineni joined Akken from Videojet, a Danaher company and global leader in coding solutions for products and packaging.

Akkineni holds Masters in Computer Science from Wayne State University.
