Is Akken Staffing Client-server, Thin-Client or Web-based?

What security measures does Akken have to protect my data?
We have put strong measures in place to ensure your information is secure at all times. Our servers are hosted and maintained in a Tier IV, SAS 70 Type II certified AT&T data center located in the U.S. This is the highest level of security available. Can Akken staff see my private company information?
No. Your information is secure and cannot be viewed by any employee of Akken. If you need any assistance with your Akken Staffing account you can temporarily give access for our Customer Success team to assist you.


How reliable is your service?
With Akken, you never have to worry about downtime. We provide the highest uptime guarantee in the industry - 99.97% 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.


Who owns my data?
You do! Even though information is hosted with us, your data is your asset. We don't own or take rights for any of our customer's proprietary and confidential property. If you decide to leave for whatever reason, we provide your information in a common format at no additional charge.


Will I get upgrades? How often?
Akken has free, scheduled upgrades every 3-6 weeks. Our automatic and seamless updates allow you to use new features and functions right way, improving user experience and eliminating further training.


How do I backup my data?
With Akken you never need to back up your data - it is backed up daily for you at our secure hosting center. You can export information whenever you please through the interface as well.


Can I retrieve my data if I decide to stop using Akken Staffing?
Yes of course. We never hold your data "hostage" like many other providers. Akken will provide your information in a common format at no additional charge.

We have a proven training process that includes a combination of personalized, one-on-one training, live group training sessions, an extensive user help guide as well as self-paced training videos. All training is included.
