Description:
Must be a highly motivated, professional team player that is willing to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment to drive exponential growth. This sales representative has an assigned quota that requires generating and closing new business opportunities for Akken Staffing™, our premier On Demand solution for the staffing industry. He or she will work to develop and execute a territory plan that targets key accounts in the staffing industry. This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven sales professional to develop his/her sales career and provide immediate impact in a dynamic startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Introduce Akken, our products and services to potential clients in the Staffing Industry
- Responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract signing
- Maintain an appropriate sales pipeline of approximately four times annual quota
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts
- Lead live web-based demonstrations with prospective clients
- Understand the changing business and technology issues and needs that our potential clients face
Required Skills:
- B.S./B.A. or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years of proven sales success
- Proven experience in new-business development, achieving quota goals, and managing personal sales strategies
- Ability and willingness to make cold calls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Fast learner and at ease with technology
- Knowledge of On-Demand business software, CRM, ERP, and/or recruiting software a plus
- Knowledge of or experience in staffing industry a plus
- Up to 10% travel
